My story
My professional journey started in 2010 when I embarked on a management consulting and assurance (EY) career, quickly jumping from a consultant to a senior consultant and later becoming a manager. Throughout this journey, I worked with 40+ clients in the public and private sectors – helping to evaluate, reengineer, and improve processes.
In 2014, I joined Nordea Bank as a Product Manager for the banking mobile apps. There, for the first time, I discovered Agile ways of working and had a chance to organise the first three cross-functional product teams in the bank working according to the most popular Agile framework in the world – Scrum. Soon after I got involved in the Agile transformation of Nordea which was being merged with another bank – DNB. I had a chance to build Agile teams, and design team practices and organisational structures in a corporate environment. Later I did the same for another sizeable bank – SEB before joining a Series-A startup Fidel API in 2019.
At Fidel API, having an engineering team of only 10 meant that I could create all the ways of working, processes, and teams as per the best practices to ensure sustainable software development. Fidel API scaled to 200 people in 3 years and an R&D team of 100 that I had the pleasure to coach and mentor.
Since 2023, I have been working in tech due diligence, as well as driving organisational design and process improvement projects in different companies. I am also a practising Agile coach in a robotics startup Energy Robotics.
